To receive CME, answer and submit the online survey that will appear when you have successfully completed the self-evaluation module and indicate the number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ you are claiming from the maximum allowed, as outlined below.

For most Self-Evaluation of Medical Knowledge modules:

The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania designates each of these enduring materials for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Note that you should claim CME credit before the posted CME credit expiration date that appears in each module.

For most Self-Evaluation of Practice Performance (ABIM PIMs Practice Improvement Modules®):

The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania designates each of these PI CME Activities for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM encourages you to claim your CME credit as soon as you successfully complete a self-evaluation module. For modules in which you do not claim credit immediately upon completion, the online survey will remain in Claim CME Credit on your ABIM home page.

Note: Only ABIM products are eligible for CME credit through this program.
