Adolescent Medicine Medical Knowledge Module Available
A new Adolescent Medicine Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment module, developed by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), is now available to all ABIM diplomates enrolled in the Maintenance of Certification program. The 50 multiple-choice questions contained in this module are worth 20 points toward the self-evaluation of medical knowledge requirement for Maintenance of Certification. The format of this new module is similar to that of ABIM’s medical knowledge modules. Each question contains reference citations to relevant articles that the diplomate will read to answer the questions and support evidence-based learning.
Completion and submission of this module follows the same procedure as that for ABIM’s medical knowledge modules. ABIM will score the module and issue a report on whether it has been successfully completed. Diplomates who successfully complete the module will also be eligible to receive up to 18 hours of Category 1 CME credit.
