Philadelphia, PA, February 18, 2004 – The American Board of Internal Medicine and ABIM Foundation announced the appointment of Marc Feldman as Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer; the appointment will be effective March 12. He then negotiated a long-term management arrangement and purchase option with the large, financially sound Holy Redeemer Health System.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Feldman held a number of increasingly responsible positions in finance, marketing, and business planning and development at Glaxo SmithKline, formerly known as SmithKline Corporation. He also served as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer at two HMOs.

He holds a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School.
