Sponsoring Organizations and PIMs
ABIM has made our PIMs available to other ABMS boards for the purpose of allowing those boards to use our tools for their Maintenance of Certification programs. Other ABMS boards will need to work with ABIM to become a sponsoring board to make these tools available to their members.
Some sponsoring organizations are allowing their members to complete PIMs as a group. ABIM's Group PIMs allow physicians who work with patients in the same location to work as a group on a PIM. Please contact your sponsoring organization to find out if you are eligible to complete Group PIMs. To learn more about PIMs, view PIM demonstrations or choose a PIM on which to work.
