What is FasTrack®?

FasTrack is ABIM's online clinical competence evaluation system. Evaluation data submitted to ABIM via FasTrack at the end of each academic year establishes eligibility for initial certification in Internal Medicine and/or the subspecialties.

ACGME-accredited programs: FasTrack will use ACGME Accreditation Data System information to prepopulate the FasTrack form and reduce the need for manual data entry.

Non-ACGME-accredited programs: The FasTrack form will not be prepopulated; however, the new system will offer an enhanced platform for submitting evaluations. The ABIM/ACGME Milestones will be displayed and editable, but are not required in order to submit an evaluation.

What are the FasTrack Ratings?

S/he is demonstrating a learning trajectory that anticipates the achievement of competency for unsupervised practice that includes the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient and equitable care.
