ABIM Hospital Visit Program

Organizations can foster education opportunities for faculty development by hosting an ABIM Hospital Visit. The primary purpose of the ABIM Hospital Visit Program (ABIM Visit) is to teach Internal Medicine faculty practical evaluation skills across the six ACGME clinical competencies.

Content for the ABIM Visit is presented as an interactive workshop in an appropriate educational setting and format determined by the hosting institution. To maximize the visit program message and audience, ABIM encourages requesting institutions to extend the invitation to all regional programs and faculty. Requests that include regional participation will be given preference for scheduling.
