Cost

If you are already enrolled in Maintenance of Certification (MOC):

• The program requires an additional, non-refundable fee of $380. This covers the remainder of your 10-year MOC cycle.
• If your current MOC enrollment expires before you complete your Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine (FPHM) MOC program requirements, you will need to re-enroll in MOC and pay the additional FPHM program fee of $380.
• If you are enrolled in MOC and have already taken an exam, you will need to pay an additional examination fee $775 plus the program fee of $380.
• If you are enrolled in MOC and have already taken the Hospital Medicine MOC exam, you will need to pay an additional $775 if you wish to take the Internal Medicine MOC exam.

If you are not yet enrolled in MOC:

• The program fee is $2,055, and includes one MOC exam.
• The program fee is $2,220 for physicians who hold a subspecialty certification.

You are permitted to withdraw from the FPHM MOC program at any time. Your $380 entry fee is non-refundable. If you choose to re-enter the program, payment of an additional $380 administrative fee is required.
