If you live or work in affected areas, we understand that the hurricane may have impacted your ability to take your Fall 2018 Certification or MOC exam as scheduled. Gastroenterology MOC Exam Dates

You may schedule an appointment within the time frames listed below. After registering you will be prompted to select a specific appointment time to begin on exam day.

For assessment dates that are offered to candidates who have a documented disability that requires a special testing schedule, please see the Special Accommodation dates below.

ABIM began offering a new two-year assessment option called a Knowledge Check-In offering a new two-year assessment option called a Knowledge Check-In for Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 2018. The Knowledge Check-In will become available to other specialties in 2019 and 2020 as an alternative to the traditional 10-year MOC exam.

  • Cancellation deadline is two (2) days prior to scheduled examination date. (Example: For exams scheduled Thursday, May 17, 2018, the cancellation deadline would be 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.)
  • It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to be aware of and comply with seat scheduling deadlines. In fairness to all candidates, ABIM adheres firmly to its published seat scheduling deadlines for its examinations. Candidates are encouraged to apply early in the seat scheduling period.
